Oral History Project

One of our favorite events is the annual Queer Tales story slam, where we invite folks to tell 5-minute true stories from their lives as queer people. We’ve heard stories about coming out, raising families, going to college, and working. We’ve heard stories from middle schoolers and elders. Funny stories, sad stories, and simple expressions of joy. The stories below are from folks who have given us permission to record and share their words.
